Which products require freight delivery?
Survive-A-Storm shelters and Autonomous office pods are delivered by freight carrier. For other products, including Mango Power and Lymow, check the exact listing for the applicable delivery method and requirements. Confirm access, unloading arrangements, and any delivery appointment requirements before ordering a freight-delivered product.
Do products include warranties?
Products include the applicable manufacturer warranty. Coverage, exclusions, and support procedures vary by brand and model. Review the exact product’s warranty information before ordering.
What is your return policy?
Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Change-of-mind returns must be new, unused, and complete in original packaging. We provide free return shipping labels, and a 10% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns only. Defective, damaged, or incorrect products are refunded in full with no restocking fee. What is the difference between manual and automatic transfer switches?

What are Autonomous office pods?
Autonomous MetroPod, WorkPod, and StudioPod are prefabricated backyard structures designed to create a dedicated space separate from your main home. They arrive as components for on-site assembly, rather than as fully assembled, ready-to-use rooms.
Which model is right for me?
MetroPod offers approximately 80 sq ft for a compact workspace. WorkPod offers approximately 102 sq ft for an everyday office setup. StudioPod offers approximately 105 sq ft for a flexible workspace or creative studio. Compare the exact configuration, furniture package, footprint, and site requirements before ordering.
How much space do I need?
The supplier lists approximate overall dimensions of 9 ft × 8.9 ft × 9.25 ft for MetroPod, 8.5 ft × 12 ft × 11 ft for WorkPod, and 8.4 ft × 12.5 ft × 9.8 ft for StudioPod. These are overall dimensions, not clear interior measurements. Allow additional space for assembly, access, maintenance, and applicable local setbacks; confirm the current model drawings before preparing your site.
Are the pods soundproof?
The pods use insulated, multilayer construction to reduce outside noise and create a quieter workspace. They are not fully soundproof. Acoustic performance depends on the model, installation, and surrounding noise; do not assume complete sound isolation.
Can I use the pod year-round?
The pods are insulated and designed for backyard use. Comfort depends on your climate and any heating or cooling equipment you install. Insulation does not replace climate control; check the exact model’s environmental requirements before purchase.
Is heating or air conditioning included?
Do not assume an air conditioner or heater is included. The supplier describes compatibility with portable AC units and mini-split systems, subject to the model and installation requirements. What furniture and equipment are included?

Is Starlink included?
Home Power Tech includes the Starlink option by default with our Autonomous WorkPod listing. Starlink is not included by default with MetroPod or StudioPod. Review the WorkPod listing’s package contents for the exact Starlink hardware and mounting equipment. Do not assume activation, installation, or an ongoing service subscription is included unless expressly stated. Starlink service availability and plan requirements must be confirmed for your location.
How does the electrical connection work?
Autonomous describes the pods as pre-wired, with an outdoor-rated connection cable and model-specific interior electrical equipment. Have a qualified electrician confirm the required supply, circuit capacity, grounding, connection method, and local requirements. Do not assume any existing household outlet can support the pod plus heating, cooling, and office equipment.
Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

A small footprint does not automatically exempt a pod from permits, zoning, setbacks, electrical approvals, or other requirements. Confirm these before ordering. Can the pod be installed on uneven ground?
The models use adjustable foundation feet, but the site still needs adequate support, drainage, and suitability for the exact model. Have your installer review the manufacturer’s ground and slope requirements. Adjustable feet do not guarantee that every site is suitable or that no preparation is needed.
How long does assembly take?
Autonomous describes typical assembly as approximately 1–2 days with 2–3 people for suitable sites, although its general guidance allows 2–7 days depending on the model and site preparation. Assembly time is separate from delivery and is not guaranteed. Arrange the labor and any professional help before your shipment arrives.
Is assembly included?
Assembly, site preparation, final placement, and electrical work are not included unless expressly stated in your Home Power Tech listing or separately arranged. Do not assume a local installation team is included with free freight shipping.
Can you help me find a local pod installer?
Yes. Reach out to Home Power Tech—we’re happy to help you find installers in your area and provide referrals where available for Autonomous pod assembly. Assembly and installation services are arranged and priced separately.
Can I relocate the pod later?
The supplier describes the pods as modular structures that can be disassembled and reassembled. Relocation requires planning, labor, transport, a suitable new site, and any required approvals. Consult the manufacturer’s instructions before moving a pod.
Is shipping free?
Yes. Autonomous office pods include free standard freight shipping within the 48 contiguous United States. Special-access delivery, final placement, assembly, installation, and electrical connections are not included unless expressly stated or separately arranged. Any additional services and charges must be disclosed and agreed upon before the order proceeds.

Where will my pod be delivered, and who unloads it?
Pods arrive by freight in packaged components or crates. Confirm the standard delivery location, packaged dimensions, unloading equipment, access, and appointment requirements before ordering. Free freight shipping does not automatically include indoor delivery, assembly, or final placement. Customer-provided equipment or assistance may be required.
What if my shipment arrives damaged?
Inspect the shipment on arrival, note visible damage on the delivery receipt, and contact Home Power Tech promptly with your order number and photographs of the product and packaging.
What warranty is included?
The supplied Autonomous documentation states a one-year warranty on MetroPod, WorkPod, and StudioPod. Review the current warranty terms for coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures. Is there a manufacturer trial period?
Autonomous’s supplied documentation states that the pod itself has no manufacturer trial period. Any trial offered for eligible furniture is separate and should not be assumed to apply to a Home Power Tech purchase. Review our Refund & Returns Policy for the return terms offered by Home Power Tech.
What is Home Power Tech’s return policy for office pods?
Under Home Power Tech’s Refund & Returns Policy, request a return within 30 days of delivery.
